A terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. I wish I was just telling you about one of my favorite books to read to my second graders. But I am not. The day started bright and early with a phone call from the nurse that Avery's IV had "infiltrated". Her arm was extremely swollen. They had to remove that IV and put in another one. It should be fine and the swelling is almost gone now. The dilation went well but Dr. Manfredi could not close the leak or clip the leak and it looks like it is going to have to be surgically fixed. This means more weeks of sedation, months of weaning off meds, and a lot more time in Boston away from Kevin and Aiden
