I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which comes to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which comes to me as blossom, goes on as fruit.

We had a nice but busy weekend. Aiden had his friend Hailey's birthday on Saturday at Roses Gymnastics and I must say he really enjoyed it. They had all kinds of different obstacles and apparatuses set up for the kids to play on. Hope he still enjoys his "art party" at the end of the month for his birthday since it has already been booked. On Sunday we went bowling (Aiden calls it "boiling"). With the bumpers set up, Kevin did really well and I did terrible. Aiden actually ended up beating me by quite a few pins. Must go back soon so I can get my groove back. I used to be pretty good. Here are a few pics from "Boiling"

My New Years Resolution is to keep this blog more up to date (and send more snail mail). We had a wonderful Christmas and stayed very busy making our usual Christmas rounds (Tennessee, Jacksonville, and Charleston). The kids did great on all the trips and enjoyed hanging out with all the relatives. Here is a small collage of our holiday.

Now it is time to start planning Aiden's 4th birthday. He is having an art party with a mickey mouse theme. Avery has been doing well (even with her current cold and just getting over a double ear infection. She finally has a tooth and three more are on their way. She will have a follow up swallow study in Feb. I am already nervous about it. Part of me wants it done and over and another part of me just wants to hold off.... Praying for a good study and an intact healthy esophagus.
