"You can look at a picture for a week and never think of it again. You can also look at a picture for a second and think of it all your life."
This is just one I will think of all my life. Had a wonderful weekend at HOME =).

Working on somethings for Girl's Beach Weekend! I am so excited I can barely stand it. Next weekend I will be spending time with my six best friends. We have been friends since 7th grade, I love them more than anything. Sadly, I have just realized we do not have one picture of all of us together until college. Back in the day, I supposed someone always had to hold the disposable camera!  Here is one of the few that I have of all of us.

This upcoming beach trip is to celebrate our 30th birthdays. I can NOT believe that we are that old. Time flies. I have been working on a special game for us to play and it has taken me down memory lane for sure. The 80's and 90's were such a fun time for me. Do you remember any of these items?????!!

My favorite game in "computer lab"

who did not love Oregon Trail?????!!

The best candy ever.

Most needed school supply

Best book series
One of the loudest, greatest games. I think I am going to have to buy this one for Aiden for Christmas:
And this was great in the summer when you needed something cold to help beat the heat

Hopefully Kevin will be off on Saturday and we can have a "real" weekend. Maybe we can get up early on Saturday and Sunday morning and spend some time outside before the heat gets unbearable. Now I am going to get back to working on the girls weekend stuff. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avery was quite the little crank monster yesterday.

I don't know if she is teething or was just being a drama queen. Maybe she just wanted a little extra attention.
So did Aiden.
Between meltdowns we were able to have a little fun. Everyone laughed at crazy Bailey.
We are more than ready for cooler weather. There are so many places I want to take the kids but just can not do it in this heat. So home will have to do for now. For us, home is amazing too!

Another busy day on the phone trying to get everything going for Avery to start getting therepy (pt, ot, feeding). That is a full time job just in itself. They should not make it this hard for people to get help for their kids. Sheesh. Hopefully by tomorrow I should know when those people are supposed to come out and make their first visit. Since being home from the hospital, Avery has already started getting stronger. She has a lot more head and trunk control and can sit up by herself for small amounts of time. She is playing a lot more as well. She loves her big brother too! Aiden gets up in the morning and the first thing he wants to do is wake up "Evie" (thats what he calls her). She is a much better sleeper than Aiden is. Avery would probably sleep until 10 if Aiden would let her (but he won't). Being back home has put me back into total picture mode. I could spend all day taking pictures if I could. Had dinner and drinks with Misty last night. It is always nice to get out, relax a bit, and chat.

Here are some pictures of Aiden and his "Clifford". It is not really Clifford from the cartoon, it is an old beanie baby I found in the attic quite awhile back. Now he takes that thing everywhere. It is dirty and really just plain gross but Aiden loves it. It is however better than "white bear". I don't know if I should show what THAT stuffed animal looks like. It sure is not white anymore.

Yesterday was cloudy and gave some relief of the extreme temps we have been experiencing. It also allowed for Aiden and I to play outside without feeling like we were going to pass out.

Today I will tackle this mountain of laundry in my bedroom. I will tackle this mountain of laundry in my bedroom. Maybe if I say it enough I will actually do it. How is it that it seems having one more child makes ten times more laundry??!! It actually feels pretty good outside right now so I think Ave and I will go sit on the back porch swing for awhile. Then laundry. Maybe. Aiden loved the homemade bath tub paint that we made the other day.

Last night it was hot and it rained (poured). I tried to get Aiden to put on his rainboots and go splash in some puddles but as soon as we got outside it thundered and that was the end of that for him. I could barely get him to stay out long enough to snap a picture of us in our boots. We headed inside and I decided we would have some fun drawing on each other with markers.

And Avery got extra snuggle time with Kevin. Sho looked so pretty in her new dress (thank you Gigi).

Someone turn off the oven outside!! It is just too HOT! With it feeling like 115 degrees outside, we have been trying to find as many creative indoor activities as possible. We have been making forts, baking cookies, creating art projects, and even watching some movies (**gasp**). Today I think we are going to try to make our own bath tub paint. Kevin is working today (BOO) so it is just me and the kids.

Ok, now that we are HOME, I swear I am going to try to do better at updating this blog daily (ok, maybe weekly). We are all so happy to be home and together. Everyone is adjusting nicely. Avery has been doing great and Aiden has just been the best big brother. Avery and I have both been a little under the weather (bronchitis) but we are starting to feel better. Here are some recent pictures.  xoxo.
