Avery had an ok day. There was a lot of confusion over what tests she would or would not have done today. She ended up getting the gastric emptying study done. The results were confusing to say the least. Dr. Manfredi (the GI doc) said it really did not look like she had a major delay in emptying but it did show some reflux. She has a really tight Nissen (which means there should be little to no reflux) so it is a mystery where it is coming from. I did not get many answers. I think the doctors are just as confused as I am. Dr. Manfredi is hoping to get a better idea to what is going on tomorrow when he does the scope and dilation. Dilation is tomorrow morning around 9:30-10:00. Praying that this leak still looks small and does not require major surgery and praying that the surgeons/doctors can figure out what is going on with Avery's stomach and reflux.
