Things have been very busy since our last update. Avery had a GOOD swallow study about a month ago! We were so excited we could harldy believe the good news. We are still waiting to hear back from Boston, but if they agree, we will not have to go back (to Boston) until November if everything continues to go well. Avery has been busy getting stronger. She can now crawl (though she prefers to scoot). She can stand some with assistance and is eating a couple of tablespoons of food per meal and can eat several crackers. Intensive feeding therepy (in Chapel Hill) may be on the horizon if we can't get her eating more on her own. But we are just taking one day at a time and thanking God each day that we are finally able to be home TOGETHER. I will try to update more (I have been having an issue with blogger and my laptop).
